The all new Flying Spur has been photographed in its own sheet metal for the first time. It was initially photographed last November wearing some old Porsche Panamera body panels. That was November and it’s Great Britain license plates and Continental GT wheels gave away what was under the sheet metal.

There is no doubt with this car as it carries the same body lines as the second generation Flying Spur, but with a lower overall profile and slightly different cabin profile.

The front of the car maintains the historical Bentley inspired four headlamp arrangement. The grill is very upright and may be slightly smaller than the current ‘Spur. The rear tail lights look familiar but have two ovals stacked on top of each other.

The new Flying Spur will share its basic chassis and drivetrain with the all new Continental GT, just like it’s predecessor. It is expected to launch with Bentley’s all new 6.0l W12 and an optional 4.0l twin-turbo V8, which was co-developed with Porsche. A hybrid version will launch at a later date.
