London’s Telegraph is out with their annual “best of” list and Bentley has won recognition. The Flying Spur is the Best Luxury Car in the 2015 Telegraph Car Awards.
“The latest Flying Spur manages to feel both traditional and modern, plus it’s as enjoyable to drive as it is to be chauffeured in. It’s easy to see why Telegraph readers and our panel of judges rate it so highly,” said Steve Huntingford, Cars Editor at The Telegraph.
The results were decided by members of the public who voted for their favorite cars via the Telegraph’s Motoring website.
Undoubtably amongst the things voters considered are the facts that the Flying Spur W12 is the fastest road-going luxury sedan in the world and the ‘Spur’s enhancements for 2015. In addition to last year’s cosmetic refresh, this year the car’s luxury interior gains new colors, leathers, and tech, such as the on-board WiFi hotspot system.
These additions make the Flying Spur as luxurious AND useful tool for the busy person on the go. Very handy if you’re being chauffeured. If you’re behind the wheel, then you can experience the ultimate luxury: power. The Flying Spur has a 6.0l, W12 twin-turbo with 625 horsepower. It can scoot to 60 in just 4.3 seconds.
Bentley Board Member Kevin Rose proudly commented, “Bentley is the most successful luxury car brand in the world. Every Bentley is handcrafted by our skilled and dedicated team in Crewe, which makes each car a true luxury possession. On behalf of Bentley Motors and our 3,800 colleagues, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that voted for us.”
