As we reported back in October, a new Bentley Mulsanne is expected in 2016. The new car will feature updated fascia and body lines including new, boxier front bumper and new air inlets.
In the video embedded below, you can see the car will also receive a more upright radiator grill. This will be smaller than the current model in the same way that the grill shrunk slightly for the 2015 Continental GT. Also like the updated Continental, we can expect slightly revised body lines with a more pronounced or crisper crease down the fender towards the car’s rear.
Under the hood, we’re expecting engine changes to improve the car’s fuel efficiency and emissions. This could include a Mulsanne hybrid, although Bentley has previously stated they are debuting their hybrid system in the 2017 Bentayga. It has also been speculated that the Mulsanne Speed will receive more suspension enhancements to improve its road holding capabilities.
Inside the car, there will be a technology refresh along with new interior treatments including Bentley’s new diamond stitched leather and stone veneers.
An updated Mulsanne is expected to debut as soon as the Geneva Auto Show in March.
